Things to Do in Orlando for Adults

Orlando has a reputation problem: everyone assumes it’s for kids, and every “things to do” list assumes you’re here with a stroller. Meanwhile, 75 million people visit a year and a lot of them are adults who’d like an evening that doesn’t involve a churro line. This is the list for them, and for locals who already know the parks aren’t the whole city.

Rent a private hangout room

Start with the thing we know best. Orlando is quietly one of the best escape room cities in the country. Eat your way through a food hall

The local food hall scene gives you the group-dinner cheat code: everyone gets what they want, nobody compromises, and there’s usually a bar in the middle. Bring the appetite you were saving for a theme-park turkey leg.

ICON Park after dark

The I-Drive entertainment district hits different at night. Ride The Wheel for the skyline, then work your way down the promenade: bars, arcades, and enough neon to feel like the Orlando the postcards promised.

Karaoke without a stage

Board game night, hosted by someone else

Game night is the great adult social equalizer, and doing it in a rented room means nobody has to clean their apartment or explain the rules over a neighbor’s leaf blower. Our library runs from five-minute party games to the heavy strategy stuff.

Topgolf, themed mini golf, and drive-in style ranges are all over the tourist corridor. All of them serve drinks. None of them care about your handicap.

The late-night second wind
